At the YouTube Space L.A., Activision celebrated the re-launch of the Guitar Hero brand with their newest installment, Guitar Hero Live. Over 235 attendees—a high profile mix of press, influencers and celebs—gathered at the indoor/outdoor venue to be some of the very first to experience the newest title first hand.

Invited guests entered VIP style via the black carpet highlighting our presenting sponsor, Honda, and paused at the step & repeat to strike their best rock star poses before joining the event.

Once inside, the space included a custom built stage for bands and invited guests to rock the night away with featured songs from the game as the “opening acts” for our headliners, a private gaming lounge and an outdoor amphitheater decked out festival-style for “fans” to watch friends rock out playing Guitar Hero Live on the 12 ft screen.

Headline performances by Grizfolk, Rival Sons and Weezer capped off the night, entertaining guests while camera crews captured content for the in-game videos and social media clips that brought the launch to millions of fans in the days that followed!
